Anorectal manometry
| The anorectal manometry study can be added to the Solar to objectively assess the function of the rectum and anorectal sphincter. Four or more pressures can be measured. The anorectal manometry program includes resting, squeeze, cough, push, RAIR and sensation tests. The catheter puller system creates an anal rest or squeeze profile. More detailed information can be obtained from a 3-dimensional Vector Volume Plot (3D-VVP).  |
