|Colonic manometry is a technique that allows recording of intraluminal pressures from within the large bowel by means of a colonoscopically positioned multilumen manometric probe. Catheters with 8-21 pressures are used. The duration of the examination is 4-24 hours.
With Solar GI colonic manometry software, HAPC (High Amplitude Peristaltic Contractions) can be determined easily.
