2-day MMS Pediatric Training Course

Medical Measurement Systems (MMS) is proud to offer a practice-based course on Pediatric upper GI function testing on December 6-7, 2011, with the emphasis on the new techniques High Resolution Manometry (HRM) and 24-hour ambulatory Impedance-pH monitoring.
Additionally, anorectal manometry and HRAM has been added to the program.
 
Subsequent to the workshop the Emma Children’s Hospital/AMC in Amsterdam will organize the 5th European Pediatric Motility Meeting (December 8-10, 2011). Goal

To gain more knowledge of upper GI function testing in order to improve the performance of examinations in daily practice. To become more acquainted with the MMS measurement systems.

Target audience

Physicians, nurses and other health care professionals with basic knowledge of esophageal motility and pH reflux examinations.

Course highlights

  • Basic principles of and indications for HRM, Impedance-pH and anorectal manometry (HRAM) testing
  • Review and curve interpretation of patient cases
  • Normal values, results and important publications
  • Hands-on practice in using the MMS systems and catheters
  • Hands-on practice in editing and report generation
  • Participants are encouraged to present their own patient cases followed by discussion
